What I'm looking for

I’m looking for an entry-level role where I can apply quantitative data analysis and statistical modeling to create clear data visualizations, collaborate on real projects, and keep improving through mentorship and hands-on ownership.

I’m a double major in B.S. Applied Mathematics (Mathematical Finance) and B.A. Quantitative Economics at the University of California, Irvine, with senior standing (157.3 units completed) and a 3.928 GPA. I’m energized by turning rigorous quantitative work into actionable, well-presented insights.

In my UCI roles, I support both people and processes: as an Undergraduate Student Assistant in UCI School of Engineering, I route departmental communications, coordinate room reservation schedules, and manage data entry and academic documents for transcripts and curriculum modifications. I also design visual curriculum maps and prerequisite flowcharts using Visio/OmniGraffle, and I audit teaching plans while assisting with website maintenance. As a Learning Assistant for Math 2A: Calculus I, I guide students through Active Learning, facilitate collaborative group discussions, and help them reach their own conclusions at a metacognitive level.

I bring strong teaching and leadership experience as a Lead Mathematics Instructor (grades 1–12) where I use individualized Learning Plans and run advanced tutoring across Geometry, Algebra, IB Math, and Calculus. I also thrive on technical teamwork—on a MATLAB Restaurant Ratings Analysis project, I helped build data visualization for consumer sentiment and managed data intake from external platforms like Google Maps. As a Team Leader for a remote-controlled rover, I directed fabrication/testing, managed engineering documentation, and calibrated components to optimize responsiveness and mobility, and I’m committed to the same practical, organized mindset in every project.
