What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a nursing role where I can deliver optimal patient care with strong infection control, charting accuracy, and thorough assessment skills. I value dependability and organized teamwork, and I’m continuing toward Family Nurse Practitioner growth.

I’m a Registered Nurse with four years of experience and a Surgical Technologist background for 8 years. I work at Comprehensive Pain Management Center in Pre-op/PACU/OR, and I also teach as a Clinical Professor at Gurnick Academy in Med-Surg and OB.

In the acute care setting, I’ve built hands-on experience and training to support optimal patient care. I’m dependable and organized, with excellent time management skills, and I can multitask while using a creative approach to problem-solve when needed.

My current roles include chart auditing and infection control work in surgical patients, along with Pre-Op/Post-Op circulating and scrubbing for surgical procedures. I also perform pain management procedures and support orthopedic surgeries and neurosurgery.

I’ve provided OB care in Labor & Delivery, including Cesarean Sections, antepartum and OB Triage, and postpartum support. I also serve as a Field Assessor for long-term insurance claims, conducting comprehensive in-home assessments, administering cognitive evaluations like the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE), and documenting objective findings to support benefit determination.
