Valentina Castanon Andrade

I am a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a background in long-term care, assisted living, correctional healthcare, and practical nursing education. I bring over 480 hours of clinical experience from nursing school and several years of hands-on patient care as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

My strengths include vital signs monitoring, medication administration per physician orders, accurate and detailed electronic documentation, and strong customer-service communication with patients and interdisciplinary teams. I have worked with hospice patients and in emergent situations including code events and mental health crises.

I maintain current CPR certification and possess a strong foundation in patient advocacy, HIPAA-compliant privacy practices, and infection control/hygiene standards. I am punctual, organized, and accustomed to following routines while adapting to changing clinical needs.

I am completing my Texas NCLEX-PN/licensure process and seek to continue serving patients in clinical roles where I can apply my practical nursing training, attention to detail, and empathetic patient care.
