Uzair Ahmed

I bring 12.1 years of laboratory experience in a Research Laboratory, plus 3 months of experience in a diagnostic laboratory. I’m an excellent team player—ready to work under pressure, keen to learn, and focused on careful observation in the workplace.

I worked as a Laboratory Assistant at Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics on the DBT project “Centre of Excellence for Microbial Biology” from 01 st June, 2010 to 07 th December, 2020. After that, I worked as a skilled worker (contract) from 8th February, 2021 to 13 July, 2022.

From 14 July, 2022 to till date, I’ve been working as a Technical associate 1 at Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics. My responsibilities include collecting blood samples for cell culture, staining and identifying bacteria, preparing and sterilizing bacteriological media, and preparing stock solutions and reagents for molecular biology work, along with maintaining consumables and assisting scientific staff with day-to-day experimental work.
