Umama Mahroz

I am a third-year Bachelor's student in Aeronautical Engineering with practical experience in UAV and aero-design competitions and workshops. I combine academic coursework in aerodynamics, propulsion, and structures with hands-on project work.

I have participated in multiple drone and aero-design challenges (SAE India and SAE International) and workshops, contributing as a team member to competitive UAV development events. My projects include bio-inspired wing designs and a combined flotation-parachute passenger safety jacket.

My technical toolkit includes MATLAB, Python, AutoCAD, CATIA V5, and ANSYS Workbench, which I apply to aerodynamic analysis, design, and simulation. Current research focuses on flow-field studies of bio-inspired corrugated wings at low Reynolds numbers.

I am motivated to apply classroom learning to real-world aerospace innovation, particularly in drone and wing technology, and seek internship or early-career roles where I can contribute to design and testing while continuing to learn.
