Provided paediatric ward nursing care for children and families, including support for patients on palliative care pathways. Advocated for patients and mentored student and internationally trained nurses on the UK nursing system.

Provided accident and emergency nursing care to adults and children, including cannulation and venepuncture. Supported patient admitting and discharging and advocated for patients in an emergency setting.

Provided sole-shift complex care for a Motor Neurone Disease client in a 24/7 community package, managing respiratory and clinical support needs in the home setting. Delivered tracheostomy and ventilator care, PEG feeding and medication administration, stoma/catheter care, diabetes monitoring, and trained new starters on package competency.

Provided part-time community nursing on hospital and community shifts, caring for patients with conditions including severe learning difficulties, multiple sclerosis, motor neurone disease, dementia, and diabetes. Delivered respiratory care (including suctioning and ventilator monitoring), wound care, bowel care (enemas/suppositories/manual evacuation), catheter management, insulin administration

Cared for respiratory high-dependency patients with tracheostomies and non-invasive ventilation, performing arterial blood gases and interpreting results. Managed arterial lines and frequent suctioning, and served as nurse in charge by leading patient flow and mentoring staff.

Activities and societies: Placements included Orthopaedics ward, Learning Disability, and District Nursing. Also worked in nursing home, general medical, cardiac, Accident & Emergency, mental health, gynaecology, and child nursing wards.

Successfully completed a Diploma of Higher Education in nursing at the University of Hertfordshire, including placements in Orthopaedics, Learning Disability, and District Nursing.

Completed an Access to Nursing course (9-month crash course) at College of North West London, Wilesden.
