What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can lead editorial quality and narrative strategy with care—prioritizing psychological safety, cultural relevance, and accuracy—while collaborating with teams that value continuous learning and responsible people-centered communication.

I’m an Editorial Lead at Behind the Reels, where I manage and supervise an editorial team while developing storytelling frameworks and editorial guidelines. I focus on psychological safety, cultural relevance, and emotional honesty to help young Africans share lived experiences with care.

Previously, I worked as an Assistant Editor for the Centre for African American Research Studies (CAARS), reviewing research manuscripts and reports for clarity, accuracy, and adherence to editorial guidelines before publication. I bring strong quality review habits that protect both the message and the reader’s trust.

My foundation also includes clinical training as a House Officer and Medical Intern, supporting patient clerking, history taking, physical examinations, inpatient monitoring, vital signs tracking, and discharge summary documentation. I’ve continued teaching through volunteer science tutoring and supported my professional growth through a workshop on essential emergency skills with a medical women’s association.
