What I'm looking for

I'm open to fully remote roles in distributed, async-first teams where I can build reliable real-time systems and work on performance, uptime, and failure-mode challenges.

I build systems where latency, uptime and correctness carry money. Most recently I rewrote a live price-streaming service end to end, taking it from a memory leak that forced a restart every 48 hours to 4+ months of unbroken uptime, serving 9,000 concurrent clients at around 20,000 messages a minute. Eight years in, I'm most useful at the point where throughput, memory behaviour and failure modes stop being implementation details and start deciding the architecture. I work across TypeScript/Node.js services and React frontends.
