Tushar Mathur

I’m a B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering student who’s focused on building practical AI solutions across NLP, deep learning, and computer vision. Through my internship at the Defence Institute of Psychological Research (DIPR), DRDO, I’m applying machine learning models and data analysis techniques to support defense-related psychological R&D.

I’ve built projects like EDU-Flash, an NLP/Generative AI study assistant that uses Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to turn PDFs, PPTs, and text into flashcards, quizzes, and summaries. I also developed Sight ON – The BlindAid Bot using OpenCV and YOLO-based real-time object detection plus distance measurement for visually impaired navigation, and I’m proud to have published this work in IEEE Xplore (2024). I enjoy taking ideas from research to usable features, with a strong bias toward accuracy, context, and real-world accessibility.
