What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can contribute to chemical process design and optimization, learn through hands-on work, and collaborate with a supportive team to improve real processes.

I’m a B. Tech Chemical Engineering student at Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata, with a strong academic record (GPA: 8.72/10.0). I’m passionate about chemical process design and optimization, and I enjoy turning classroom fundamentals into practical, measurable outcomes.

Through my industrial training at MCPI Private Limited in Haldia, I observed real-time industrial processes in PTA production. I gained practical knowledge of pumps, heat exchangers, and process flow diagrams, which strengthened how I think about system-level process performance.

My major project—“Study on Adsorbent Preparation from Plant based Waste Material for Phenol Removal from Wastewater”—focused on engineering plant-based adsorbents using chemical activation for sustainable treatment. I developed and optimized a process for efficient phenol removal and applied material science and chemical kinetics to characterize adsorbent properties and performance.

I also complement my technical foundation with tools and communication experience: I’ve worked on sales responsibilities as a Sales Associate at Global Adsorbents, coordinating client quotations, dispatch/delivery follow-ups, and Sales Tracker reporting. With certifications like NPTEL “Petroleum Technology” and participation in the AUTOCAD competition (Chemspark 2023), I bring continuous learning, teamwork, and technical communication to everything I do.
