What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can deliver quality, evidence-based dental care—especially emergency and endodontic work—while strengthening oral health education, and continuing my growth in orthodontics and student training.

I’m a Dentist with a career spanning 11 years, committed to continuous development—personally and professionally. I aim to provide quality dental care and oral education to my community, guided by “Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.”

Since 06/2024, I’ve worked as a Locum Dentist across practices in Pretoria and Johannesburg, handling emergency dental treatment including extractions, Root Canal Treatment (ERCT), scaling and polishing, and OHI. I also manage periodontic treatment and minor orthodontic treatment, and treat prosthodontic cases such as veneers, dentures, crowns, and bridges, using x-ray interpretation for diagnostics.

As a Dentist (Grade 2) Developmental Post at the Sefako Makgatho University Oral Health Centre (07/2022–07/2024), I combined clinical care with education—teaching and training students in Orthodontics, diagnosing and referring patients, providing emergency treatment, and supporting orthodontic patient management under a consultant’s supervision.

Earlier, as a Managing Dentist (Grade 1) at Albert Nzula District Hospital (06/2019–06/2022), I established and led the dental department: coordinating oral health services, promoting oral health, implementing quality assurance and Standard operating Procedures, and managing resources, risk, and teams. I’m currently pursuing an MDS (Orthodontics) at Sefako Makgatho University to deepen my expertise further, supported by management and research-focused coursework.
