Special educator at School for Blind Children, creating accessible primary instruction and learning materials.

Trinidad and Tobago
Message

At School for Blind Children, I plan and teach primary lessons adapted to learners’ individual needs. I develop accessible resources such as braille activities, tactile diagrams, large-print materials and auditory instruction.

I design formative exercises and assessments, review learner responses, and document progress, misconceptions and next steps. I focus on meaningful understanding and adapt instruction for varied literacy, numeracy and sensory needs.

I also chair the school Curriculum Committee, coordinating instructional planning and documenting collaborative decisions. At Trinidad and Tobago Blind Welfare Association, I support instruction and skills development for persons with visual impairments; previously, I taught computer literacy using screen-reading software.
