As Merchandiser, Sample Development (Team Leader) at Buyer's handled accounts, I communicated daily with buyers including Kurabo, Target, Tom Tailor, J.Crew and Express. I managed the Kurabo account and prepared customer sales results and annual sales achievement reports.
I issued purchase orders to external factories for fabric development and production, followed TNA and delivery schedules, and prepared quotations after sales team confirmation. I also negotiated prices with Teijin to secure an annual order of about 4,000 yds.
As Sample Development Team Leader, I led a team of 5 developing about 200 samples per year and handled buyer comments through approval. Earlier, I coordinated sample development and delivery across sewing and washing teams, and prepared weekly and daily reports.
