I’m looking for a team where I can own data pipelines end-to-end—building reliable ETL, optimizing SQL performance, and turning analytics into decisions. I want strong code review, product collaboration, and room to grow into cloud data engineering.

I’m a data engineering intern focused on building trustworthy pipelines and making analytics dramatically faster. At Federated Hermes, I designed and deployed automated ETL pipelines into a Power BI data warehouse schema, replacing hours of weekly manual preparation with a fully self-refreshing reporting layer.

I also bring a strong performance mindset: I profiled and restructured 15+ underperforming SQL queries using execution plan analysis and index tuning, reducing average dashboard refresh time from ~12s to ~7s for 50+ daily analysts while lowering warehouse compute load. I’ve audited and refactored SQL backends for legacy reporting tools, improving query performance by 50% and reducing long-term maintenance overhead.

Across internships and projects, I enjoy end-to-end delivery—transforming messy data into clean, usable models and shipping production features. From building Ruby on Rails REST APIs backed by PostgreSQL with robust validation and integrity constraints, to creating distributed log pipelines and an AI RAG price prediction system, I aim to combine engineering discipline with analytical impact.
