What I'm looking for

Not to sound cliché, but I’m looking for a role where I can work on challenging problems and technologies pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. I’m particularly interested in distributed systems, microservices, low-level systems, and problems that force me to think deeply and grow as an engineer. I’d like to avoid repetitive work without room to learn, experiment, or take on problems.

At Cubbes Inc., I built Laravel APIs for a YouTube watchlist and a digital books marketplace, including Paystack and wallet payments, purchase verification, webhooks, and automated access to purchased books.

I designed relational schemas for purchase history, DRM-restricted access, and student reading progress, and built authorized, book-specific AI chat functionality for verified purchasers. I also documented API contracts and worked closely with frontend teams to deliver production-ready features.

Previously at Cubbes, I collaborated with four developers on a React 18 student forum platform with commenting, authentication, search, and upvoting. My frontend work contributed to a 35% improvement in user retention and a 40% boost in page-load speed through lazy loading and code splitting.

In personal projects, I built Relay, an asynchronous CSV processing system using Node.js workers, PostgreSQL, Redis, BullMQ, Socket.IO, and Cloudflare R2. I also created TweetSona, a real-time tweet analytics dashboard combining the Twitter API, GPT-based sentiment analysis, React, and Node.js.
