What I'm looking for

I'm open to remote roles and relocating to Spain under the Digital Nomad Visa. I'm looking to lead Android and cross-platform technical work, improve runtime performance, and deliver measurable outcomes in distributed teams.

At Itaú Unibanco, I build consumer-scale Android banking experiences and lead technical decisions across Android, iOS, and backend services. I led an 8-engineer team and a performance squad that reduced Home screen Time to Initial Display by 50% and first cold-start time by 30%.

I've modernized legacy Java codebases to Kotlin, built the bank's first custom Server-Driven UI engine for its Home screen, and reduced feature deployment and UI experimentation cycles from two weeks to three days. My work also includes secure digital-bank onboarding, biometric identity verification, mobile architecture governance, and mentoring developers.

Through ComposeShaders, I built a rendering proof of concept combining C++, OpenGL ES 2.0, JNI, and Jetpack Compose, including a native StackBlur implementation for low-overhead UI rendering.
