Thabo Mokhoathi

I’m a Human Resources-focused professional currently pursuing a Diploma in Human Resource Management at Walter Sisulu University, and I bring a practical, people-centered mindset to every HR task. I’m dependable under pressure, a fast learner, and I communicate clearly in both verbal and written English.

Through my studies, I’ve built a solid foundation in business and HR functions, including Quantitative Techniques, Accounting aspects, Human Resource Information, and Systems Human Resources Management. I also developed analytical and problem-solving strength, which helps me handle employee records and HR processes with care.

Before my HR practics, I worked as an Educator assistant (curriculum) in the Department of Education, where I prepared classrooms for teaching and learning and ensured materials were ready for use. I supported the teacher to manage behavior, supervised group activities of learners, and completed required administrative tasks.

In my Human Resource Management practicals (HRD & HRM) with the Department of Education (Maluti District), I supported key employee processes: capturing employee data and time sheets under the EPWP, entering relevant information for Performance Management and Quality Management Systems, and calculating score sheets for different post levels. I also handled labour relations by accepting employee grievances and forwarding them appropriately, organized employee wellness programmes, and captured bursary and internship applications for new entrants and employees.
