Temirlan Utarbayev

I am a dedicated and passionate statistics major at Simon Fraser University, where I have maintained a CGPA of 3.58. My academic journey has equipped me with a solid understanding of data analysis and statistical methods, which I have applied in various projects. One of my notable projects involved analyzing football players' data, where I utilized Python to extract, transform, and load data, ultimately predicting transfer fees based on player attributes.

In addition to my technical skills, I have experience in collaborative environments, as demonstrated in my Optimal Dorm Design project, where I worked with a team to create an operations research model. My role involved implementing the model in Excel and articulating the mathematical definitions in LaTeX. I also take pride in my volunteer experience as a peer tutor, where I helped students succeed in calculus and discrete math, showcasing my ability to communicate complex concepts effectively.
