@tariifiemi-ikpaikpai
Legal researcher and editorial writer focused on Nigerian law, rigorous research, and clear legal writing.
What I'm looking for
I am a highly motivated third-year law student with demonstrated experience in legal research, editorial writing, and academic leadership. I synthesise complex legal materials, evaluate sources, and produce well-structured written outputs grounded in Nigerian law.
As Head of Research at the Somina Johnbull Students' Legal Chambers and Director of Editorials & Writing at the South South Zonal Law Students Association, I lead research initiatives and oversee the editorial direction of legal publications. I evaluate primary and secondary legal sources, ensure accuracy and legal precision, fact-check and approve content, and mentor contributors while maintaining editorial standards and timelines.
I am also hands-on with digital communications and research-supported drafting, using AI research tools to support rigorous work. My focus spans Nigerian Criminal Law, constitutional & electoral matters, company law (CAMA), commercial law, intellectual property law, and revenue & tax law, strengthened through moot court advocacy, an intellectual property club, and writing projects including long-form fiction and self-directed digital marketing.
