What I'm looking for

I'm looking to apply process design, simulation, operations exposure, and research experience to chemical engineering work in refining, process systems, separations, or clean-energy technologies.

I've supported production learning at IOCL Digboi Refinery, studying process documentation, DCS startup and shutdown sequencing, safety interlocks, and operations across the MSQU and HGU units.

I diagnosed a reformate octane-drift issue through DCS trend analysis, linking it to a reformer H2/HC ratio deviation and coordinating root-cause reporting with production and technical engineering teams.

My research spans CFD, thermal transport, and microscale diagnostics. At Jadavpur University, I simulated twin jet-impingement heat transfer in COMSOL; at IIT Kharagpur, I fabricated a paper-based microfluidic device for serum magnesium assay with smartphone image analysis.

I've also designed a rate-based HCl absorption system in Aspen Plus with at least 99.9% removal and reusable acid recovery, including controls, hydraulics, and economics. In my minor project, I developed ZnO-based nanohybrid photocatalysts from waste Aparajita flowers and quantified visible-light hydrogen evolution.
