Takunda Musundire
@takundamusundire
Agricultural engineer driving productivity and reducing post-harvest losses.
What I'm looking for
I am an agricultural engineer with hands-on leadership managing commercial horticulture, livestock and post-harvest operations across multiple African farms. I combine agronomy and engineering to improve yields, implement irrigation systems and reduce spoilage.
As a farm manager and operations lead, I have overseen export-quality production, supervised large teams (up to 240 workers), drafted SOPs and production plans, and delivered infrastructure projects such as pack sheds, irrigation rehabilitation and charcoal coolers that cut post-harvest losses. I also manage budgets, cold-chain handling and food-safety compliance.
I take a practical, results-oriented approach to farm management, training staff on safe chemical use and operational standards while liaising with buyers and service providers to meet client demand and optimize profitability.
