At the University of Isfahan, I researched AI and robotics and developed real-time assistive navigation systems for visually impaired individuals. I designed customized models for semantic and panoptic segmentation to help systems perceive their environment.
For this work, I collected and annotated video data, then trained and evaluated deep learning models under challenging real-world conditions. I also published research on pathfinding and collision avoidance for visually impaired individuals.
