At City of Hope, I own the SQL Server and PostgreSQL platforms behind clinical, research, and business applications. I’ve defined modernization roadmaps and migrated hundreds of databases across SQL Server versions, including moves to Azure.

I’ve also led cross-database migrations from Oracle to SQL Server and selected SQL Server workloads to PostgreSQL. For critical cutovers, I use rehearsals, validation, and rollback plans to protect data integrity.

My work includes performance tuning, high availability, disaster recovery, and HIPAA security. I hold Microsoft Azure Database Administrator Associate and Azure Fundamentals certifications.
