swetha Reddy
@swethareddy
Ph.D. biochemist with 5+ years postdoctoral experience in protein biochemistry and cell biology research.
What I'm looking for
I am a Ph.D. in Biochemistry with over five years of postdoctoral experience focused on protein biochemistry, cell and molecular biology. I bring strong scientific curiosity, rigorous experimental design skills, and a commitment to research excellence.
My work spans mammalian and insect cell culture, expression and purification of fusion proteins, protein interaction studies, gene silencing, Q-PCR, SDS-PAGE, and western blotting, complemented by fluorescence and confocal microscopy for immunofluorescence and co-localization analyses.
I have secured competitive grant funding, earned awards including the SERB-ACS Online Research Poster Competition prize, and authored multiple peer-reviewed publications on optineurin, neurodegeneration, and signaling pathways. I have also mentored PhD students, postgraduates, and summer fellows.
I am eager to apply my technical expertise and collaborative approach to R&D roles in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or healthcare settings to drive innovation and deliver measurable scientific impact.
