What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a leadership role where I can modernise cloud data platforms, cut costs at scale, and ship production AI with strong governance—building teams across regions and partnering with C-suite stakeholders to deliver measurable business impact.

I’m a data engineering leader with 17 years’ experience designing, building, and scaling enterprise data platforms and engineering teams across cloud-native environments. I combine deep hands-on expertise in Databricks, Azure, and GCP with delivery leadership across cross-functional UK and India teams.

Across my roles, I’ve modernised legacy data infrastructure while consistently improving platform efficiency—most notably achieving 90%+ platform cost reduction through Lakehouse architecture redesign on Azure Databricks. I’ve also delivered large-scale, zero-downtime and compliance-focused migrations, including migrating 500K+ customers during an acquisition programme with zero data loss.

I’m equally focused on shipping AI into production. I’ve built GenAI and RAG pipelines using Azure OpenAI, LangChain, LlamaIndex, and vector databases to automate document processing and generate enterprise insights for clients such as Asda and JLL.

Right now, I’m a VP of Data (Data & AI Engineering Manager) building high-performing teams and setting governance foundations for scale, including Unity Catalog, schema governance, data lineage, and auditability. I’m currently pursuing Cornell University’s Chief AI Officer (CAIO) programme to strengthen enterprise AI governance and platform strategy.
