At Joshi & Bhandary, Chartered Accountants, I built a fixed asset register covering approximately 5,000 hospital assets, reconciling classifications and balances and calculating depreciation under IAS 16/NAS 16.
I prepared hospital financial statements and supporting schedules in Excel for an entity with a balance sheet of approximately NPR 3 billion. I also reconciled MIDAS ERP/MIS reports to the trial balance and supported IFRS 15 year-end revenue cut-off.
In audit and assurance work, I prepared working papers and tested areas including cash, inventory, payroll, receivables, payables and loans. I contributed to IFRS 9 expected credit loss work for two Nepalese Class D financial institutions, and I’m an ACCA student with 10 of 13 examinations passed.
