Sujith Taridalu
@sujithtaridalu
Cybersecurity graduate research assistant focused on secure analytics, network defense, and offensive testing.
What I'm looking for
I’m a cybersecurity-focused graduate research assistant working on ERSATool, an R-based analytics web application that enables secure, reproducible workflows for 50+ users with consistent data handling across 7+ visualization modules. I also engineered cross-language execution between Python and R to manage artifact usage and dependency boundaries, reducing execution and supply-chain risks while staying compatible with the lab’s pipeline.
Before that, I built practical defenses through internships: hardening 20+ workstations with automated patch management and configuration baselines, segmenting networks with VLANs and Access Control Lists (ACLs) to stop lateral movement, and improving disaster recovery with encrypted backup processes that reduced Recovery Time Objective (RTO) risk by 50%. I strengthened IAM by administering Active Directory user lifecycles and Group Policies (GPOs) to achieve 100% compliance with the Principle of Least Privilege (PoLP) for critical file access.
I’m also hands-on with offensive and monitoring work. I conducted network enumeration across 5+ subnets using Nmap and validated findings with Nessus and SearchSploit, then performed active phishing simulations with GoPhish alongside passive OSINT. In my OpenClaw AI Agent Security research, I assessed prompt-injection, memory-poisoning, and privilege-escalation risks, built Bash-based defensive tools and reproducibility packages, and identified MEMORY.md as a high-risk self-replicating persistence vector—grounding my work in measurable, testable security outcomes.

Graduate Research Assistant
Texas A&M University
Dec 2024 - May 2026 (1 year 5 months)
Developed ERSATool, an R-based analytics web application used by 50+ users, providing secure, reproducible workflows with 7+ visualization modules to minimize user-driven errors. Engineered a Python-to-R cross-language execution workflow to control model artifact usage and dependency boundaries, reducing execution and supply-chain risks while maintaining compatibility with the lab pipeline.
Network & Infrastructure Intern
Sp Hitech Printers
Nov 2023 - Jul 2024 (8 months)
Hardened endpoint security for 20+ workstations using automated patch management and standardized configuration baselines, reducing the internal attack surface by 15%. Architected network segmentation with VLANs and ACLs, implemented encrypted backups that reduced RTO by 50%, and administered Active Directory and GPOs to achieve 100% PoLP compliance for critical file access.
Cybersecurity Intern
Telangana State Police
Oct 2023 - Nov 2023 (1 month)
Improved network security by reducing attack surface by 15% through enumeration on 5+ subnets using Nmap and identifying unused or vulnerable services with Nessus and SearchSploit. Conducted 10+ social engineering assessments and phishing simulations with GoPhish plus passive OSINT to support resolution of 4 cybercrime cases.
