At DXC Technology, I administer MongoDB replica sets and sharded clusters alongside PostgreSQL across production and non-production environments. I manage backups and restores, upgrades, monitoring, and performance tuning.
I set up a MongoDB sharded cluster and selected a shard key to distribute a high-growth collection evenly. I also rolled out Percona PMM dashboards for OS, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL metrics, tuning alert thresholds to reduce alert noise.
I improved a critical report query through indexing and query optimization, and performed backup and restore drills to validate RTO/RPO requirements for Tier-1 databases. My work also includes security audits, data migrations, and on-call incident support.
