At Deloitte India, I delivered benchmarking studies for manufacturing, distribution, and services, building multi-year ratio models to set arm’s-length ranges. I also tested margins with and without capital adjustments to strengthen study defensibility.
For comparable-company analysis, I narrowed a screening pool using activity-specific and financial criteria, then explained year-on-year swings through company filings, industry reports, and balance-sheet analysis.
In my BillwiseFY2026 FP&A project, I built an integrated, driver-based budget and rolling forecast linking the P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet. I modelled hiring, sales capacity, marketing spend, and support staffing as business drivers, and evaluated decisions across downside, base, and upside scenarios.
I also turned the analysis into a bottom-line-first management summary, separating actionable variances from timing and one-offs. Earlier, as a research intern at Jawaharlal Nehru University, I compared mobile banking access and adoption in India and Kenya using a consistent dataset.
