What I'm looking for

Senior backend or distributed-systems role at a product company or remote-first team. Java/Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes; banking, payments and data-heavy systems. Open to global teams on EU hours.

Backend engineer with 7 years building Java and Spring Boot systems for banking and payments, where mistakes are expensive. At Société Générale I designed and executed a 35 TB migration from Documentum to PostgreSQL with 100% data fidelity and zero downtime, split the platform into hexagonal microservices across four bounded domains (cutting cross-team regression incidents by about 30%), and improved API response times by more than 20% through PostgreSQL index redesign and caching. Previously, at Tata Consultancy Services, I re-platformed COBOL payment processing to Java and Spring Boot and ran Kubernetes workloads on GKE. I build with AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, MCP) and default to TDD.
