I am an assistant professor and third-year PhD student focused on historical-demographic research of the Adriatic and Mediterranean, with particular expertise in mortality trends and public health history.
My PhD research examines the population of Župa dubrovaka (1808–1918), exploring historical-demographic and socio-economic aspects, building on my MA specialization in Early Modern History and historical demography.
At the University of Dubrovnik I teach courses such as History of the Population of Dubrovnik and the Hinterland and contribute as a research associate to the MIDIA project (Migrations and the Formation of Dubrovnik Identity between History and Modernity).
I bring strong methodological skills in demographic analysis, historical analysis, academic writing, and public speaking, and I am committed to advancing understanding of population dynamics and public health in historical contexts.
