Steven Mwangi
@stevenmwangi
Finance and accounts leader crafting strategy and managing teams for measurable results.
What I'm looking for
I focus on finance and accounts—crafting financial strategies and managing the accounts team to help organizations meet their goals. I’ve built my career around owning day-to-day accounting controls while improving how finance supports business decisions.
As Head of Finance at Live Love Well EPZ Ltd, I lead finance execution “to date,” strengthening reporting, payments, and accountability. Previously, I served as Procurement Officer & Manufacturing accountant and Project Officer, blending financial discipline with operational support across procurement and manufacturing.
Earlier, I worked at Kenya Coffee Producers Association as Finance and administration assistant and later as Finance and administration manager. In those roles, I handled statutory return filing, invoicing, payment preparation, imprest processing (advances and surrenders), bank payment vouchers, and daily bank and cash controls.
My background includes CPA (KASNEB) and an MBA (Finance option) at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. I’m conversant with QuickBooks and Odoo, and I bring cost accounting and manufacturing accounting capability, plus strong execution in bank reconciliation, receivables, and petty cash management.
