I hold a B.Sc in Pharmacy, along with multiple health-related certificates, and I’m currently undergoing a master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Technology and Industrial Pharmacy. My training spans clinical management of HIV, designing HIV prevention programs for key populations, and logistics for health commodities.
With over seven years’ experience across different healthcare settings, I’ve built strong capability in maintaining stock of drugs, dispensing antiretroviral drugs to patients, counseling them on how to take their medications, and dispensing other drugs and consumables. I also maintain stock records and transaction records, and I prepare and send reports on ARVs and daily consumptions to PEPFAR.
In my current role, I serve as Head of Pharmaceutical Services and as the ART Focal Person, while also supporting facility quality improvement activities. I work confidently with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), apply good analytical and communication skills, and focus on reviewing prescriptions to dispense drugs appropriately and promote safe, rational drug use.
