Stephen Akinrinmade

I’m an Analytical and detail-oriented Accounting graduate with hands-on experience in financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. I interpret financial data, build financial models, and support strategic decision-making with a strong commitment to accuracy.

In my Finance Intern role at FinancePath (Virtual), I conducted income statement reviews, cash flow analysis, and cost-control assessments across simulated business scenarios. I supported budgeting and forecasting by organising and analysing financial information, and I helped prepare financial reports using Microsoft Excel.

Through my Sustainability in Banking Job Simulation with CIMB Group, I gained practical exposure to ESG frameworks and their integration into financial risk and reporting processes. I performed client due diligence assessments, identified sustainability performance targets in linked loan structures, and designed an internal audit scope for ESG reporting.

I also bring applied initiative and leadership: I managed a ₦250,000 student event budget with disciplined planning and resource allocation, and I built an Excel-based financial dashboard to track trading activity and risk metrics. Alongside my ICAN development in progress, I continue strengthening my auditing and taxation competence through structured case simulations and reporting.
