Stephanie Dajao

I’m a B.S. Data Science student at the University of the Philippines - Mindanao, focused on turning data into practical predictions. My coursework spans Data Modeling, Data Visualization, Data Analytics, Statistical Techniques, and Machine Learning, reinforced by hands-on work across projects and community programs.

As AWS Cloud Club - UP Mindanao’s Machine Learning Department Head, I plan study sessions and workshops on ML concepts and Model Training using AWS Cloud Services Tools. I also deliver structured learning materials covering foundational end-to-end ML pipelines and AWS-based deployment fundamentals, so learners can move from theory to real implementation.

In Community of Data Experts - UP Mindanao, I led Datatalks and CODEx and Beyond Projects Head, spearheading programs on integrating cloud computing in data science and applying data science concepts in real-world projects. I also organized Codex & Beyond, connecting students with industry professionals in data science and cloud computing to discuss practical career applications.

During my Eskwelabs internship, I contribute to actionable internal algorithms and models that help the organization make better strategic and operational choices. I produce high-quality synthetic datasets that realistically mirror real-world systems by modeling systems that contributes to Eskwelabs, and I build predictive work such as a SARIMA time-series forecasting model for durian fruit set vulnerability and a network diffusion model for Tiktok reach and engagement trajectories.
