What I'm looking for

I am seeking a role that allows me to create impactful events and foster community engagement in a dynamic environment.

I am a dedicated and passionate individual pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Tourism, Hospitality, and Event Management at Indiana University. My academic journey is complemented by minors in Criminal Justice and Human Resources Management, which equip me with a diverse skill set to excel in the hospitality industry. As a member of the Dean’s Student Leader Cabinet, I have developed leadership skills and a commitment to enhancing student experiences on campus.

During my internship as a Program Manager Intern at the Student Involvement and Leadership Center, I founded 'The Little 500 Kickoff' event, which celebrated the iconic Little 500 race. This experience taught me the importance of fostering community engagement and inclusivity in event planning. Additionally, I co-planned the Cream and Crimson Carnival, managing a substantial budget and leading a team of Event Assistants to ensure the event's success.

As the Vice President of Internal Affairs for the Union Board, I have honed my skills in recruitment, team management, and program development. I am committed to creating innovative and inclusive programs that enrich student life. My internship at Distinctive Schools further enhanced my outreach and relationship-building skills, as I worked to connect with community organizations and maintain accurate records of recruitment efforts.

Responsible for co-planning the Cream and Crimson Carnival with a $145,000 event budget and leading a staff of 10 Event Assistants.
