Stefan Flores

I’m a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician with over 14 years of experience across academic, community, rural, and telemedicine settings. My focus is on acute care decision-making, emergency department operations, and delivering high-quality virtual and in-person care.

I’m experienced in telemedicine consultations and virtual patient care, including critical care, trauma, resuscitation, and procedural medicine. I also bring clinical leadership to quality improvement and clinical documentation so care stays consistent, safe, and measurable.

Beyond bedside and virtual work, I’ve contributed to physician education, resident and medical student teaching, and faculty experience at Columbia University. I value clear communication with patients and teams, especially when supporting education and informed clinical decision-making.

Trained at Highland Hospital/UCSF, I’ve built a practice that adapts to different care environments—from tertiary referrals and community hospitals to rural settings and digital-first models. I’m now seeking senior remote telemedicine, virtual urgent care, concierge, utilization management, or digital health physician roles.
