What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a veterinary role where I can lead shifts, collaborate closely with clinicians, and keep developing my ECC/ICU nursing skills—while maintaining strong client bonds through clear, confident communication.

I’m a Registered Veterinary Nurse with a strong foundation in hospital and first-op practice, and I’ve grown into advanced responsibility through roles such as deputy head nurse, head nurse, and intensive care specialist nurse. I qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in August 2015 (registered March 2016), and since then I’ve built my confidence in both routine and critical care settings.

In small animal hospital environments and first-op practice, I’ve prioritised effectively under pressure—working isolation units, medical wards, and supporting triage submissions from inspectors and wildlife officers. At Clent Hills Veterinary Group (IVC), I progressed quickly into leading duties, managing theatre and nursing appointments, covering the out-of-hours rota, and planning procedures in collaboration with the veterinary surgeon.

In my Intensive Care Specialist Nurse role at Willows Referral Centre (Linnaeus), I delivered emergency and critical nursing for serious cases, including post-surgical critical care, jugular catheters, active drains, and neurological complications. I also bring practical expertise from Wound Management certification—confidently selecting dressings and bandages for challenging wounds—alongside strong communication, client rapport, and team leadership.
