What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a security-focused team where I can do VAPT and vulnerability management, automate analysis in Python, and contribute to threat research and defensive engineering—while partnering with others to improve real-world outcomes and documentation quality.

I’m a final-year B.E. Cyber Security student (graduating 2026) with project-based experience in Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT), web application security, and security automation. I combine hands-on testing with rigorous documentation so findings translate into actionable risk reduction.

In my role as a Cyber Security Researcher (2022–Present), I perform vulnerability assessments on systems and web applications using Burp Suite, Nessus, and Nmap—confirming, documenting, and tracking issues by severity. I also support remediation workflows by providing detailed technical findings and validating patch effectiveness, while correlating security event data using SQL and monitoring anomalies through SIEM platforms.

I co-developed VerifyIt, a multi-modal misinformation detection system integrating real-time search with a custom-modified LLM, contributing backend development, AI model research, and technical/patent-grade documentation. I also built Python automation tools that reduced manual security analysis time by 40%, and I stay sharp through active CTF competition and bug bounty participation, backed by CNSP and CCEP certifications.
