CFD Engineer at the University of Birmingham modelling cryogenic hydrogen storage and assessing its technical and economic feasibility.
What I'm looking for
At the University of Birmingham, I’m conducting CFD analysis of cryogenic hydrogen storage systems for the NAVHYS project, assessing thermal performance and operational feasibility. I’m also connecting simulation results with techno-economic analysis to inform practical decisions about hydrogen energy systems for maritime applications.
My projects include a heat exchanger design study that identified improvements delivering a 15% thermal efficiency gain, and a thermoelectric energy recovery model with a 6% theoretical efficiency improvement. I use ANSYS Fluent and Python for simulation and analysis, and have presented research findings to researchers and industry professionals.
