What I'm looking for

I'm seeking a technical role where I can apply my expertise to support research and contribute to process development and optimisation.

At the University of Birmingham, I focused on experimental and computational analysis of particulate processes as a PhD Chemical Engineering student. I developed methods for extracting mixing metrics from Positron Emission Particle Tracking (PEPT) data.

I used PEPT data to calibrate CFD-DEM and MP-PIC models, and contributed experimental work and advanced data analysis to international collaborative projects supporting model development and validation.

For my MEng Chemical Engineering, I used DEM simulations to study how media size and impeller design influenced flow behaviour, power draw and contact forces in a stirred media mill. I processed simulation datasets in MATLAB and ParaView to generate heat maps and statistics, identifying configurations with improved grinding efficiency and reduced energy consumption.

During my student placement at Evonik Industries, I adjusted cooling-system flows to control the temperature of an exothermic reactor. I’m seeking a technical role where I can apply my expertise to support research and contribute to process development and optimisation.
