At Regional Integrated Multi-hazard Early Warning System, I develop machine learning models to forecast tropical cyclone tracks over the North Indian Ocean. I integrate and preprocess IBTrACS/IMD, ERA5, and NCEP GFS data for spatiotemporal feature engineering, and developed a 72-hour forecasting framework evaluated with track error, MAE, RMSE, and R².

As a Data Science Research Intern at Variable Energy Cyclotron Centre (VECC), Kolkata, I developed Python pipelines to decode binary records from nuclear physics experiments. I also visualised radiation spectra, fitted Gaussian models, and created channel-versus-channel density heatmaps to study detector correlations.
