What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I strengthen internal controls and audit readiness, while using solvency/pension modeling expertise to support compliance, risk assessment, and accurate financial decision-making with strong cross-functional collaboration.

I build strong control environments and turn complex processes into clear, testable evidence. I’m an internal audit and risk professional with actuarial training, combining hands-on controls work with financial risk and solvency modeling.

In my recent roles, I supported the design and testing of operational effectiveness by interviewing process owners, mapping end-to-end flows, and developing Risk Control Matrices (RCMs). I created structured flowcharts, performed system walkthroughs, tested automated controls for design/operating effectiveness, and identified control gaps—then collaborated with stakeholders to recommend improvements and contribute to draft audit and internal control reporting.

I also apply actuarial and regulatory modeling capabilities: I’ve supported advanced financial models for Solvency II compliance and risk assessment, including calibration/validation and capital adequacy thinking. Earlier experience includes pension-scheme calculations (including GMP/XS and transfer value calculations), actuarial valuation support, and drafting trustee advice papers, alongside internal audit work spanning multiple business processes and earlier tax and statutory/audit support through accounting and return preparation.
