SHOURYA MALVIYA

I’m an aspiring B.Tech Computer Science (Data Science) student at UPES with a strong interest in data analysis and machine learning. I enjoy turning real-world datasets into clear, actionable insights and building end-to-end projects that solve practical business problems.

Through my Data Science internships at Tailor Data and experience supporting initiatives at Hamari Pahchan, I’ve learned how to collaborate, communicate findings, and drive impact. I coordinated volunteer efforts and supported fundraising activities, strengthening my ability to work with teams and translate goals into measurable outcomes.

My projects reflect my focus on analytics and ML: I conducted vendor performance analysis using SQL and Python (Pandas), and built an interactive Tableau dashboard for delivery performance, quality metrics, and cost efficiency. In research, I designed a DMCIF (Dynamic Mutual Information with Correlation Filtering) feature selection approach for disease prediction, improving classification accuracy and computational efficiency compared to traditional methods.
