At Himalayan Space & Telescopes, I’m leading the mechanical design of a locally fabricated 16-inch Newtonian reflector telescope, including its primary mirror, frame, and equatorial mount in SolidWorks.
I designed the worm-gear drive and stepper-motor tracking, and I’m integrating ESP32/OnStepX embedded control for GoTo automation. The project brings together CAD design, transmission engineering, CNC fabrication, and embedded systems.
At SOMAES, I coordinate Mechatronic Lab operations and support student projects in mechatronics, embedded control, and automation. Previously, as Assistant Project Manager, I co-managed engineering project teams across Go-Kart, Robotics, and Telescope development initiatives.
I’ve also designed a multi-DOF articulated robotic arm in SolidWorks and delivered hands-on SolidWorks workshops as a certified tutor. My studies at Pulchowk Campus, IOE — Tribhuvan University complement this project work in mechanical design and automation.
