What I'm looking for

I want to grow in a microbiology QC role where I can run IS/ISO-compliant microbial testing, strengthen documentation, support environmental monitoring and audits, and continuously improve accuracy in water/food/cosmetics results.

I’m a Junior Microbiologist based in Mumbai, currently performing microbiological analysis of water samples as per IS 15185, IS 15186, IS 15187, IS 5402, and IS 5403. I focus on quality through strict documentation, time management, and reliable handling of lab equipment, including incubators, autoclave, and UV cabinet. I also support microbiological analysis for cosmetics and hygiene products, including IS 14648 and preservative efficacy testing.

Earlier, I strengthened my lab and QC foundation through roles at Himedia Laboratories and Dr Amin Controllers, where I worked on growth promotion testing, media preparation, culture handling, and sterility testing (open system, closed system, direct inoculation). I conducted environmental monitoring using settle plate count, air monitoring, surface monitoring, and personal monitoring, and I performed water sample analysis covering total microbial count, coliforms, and pathogen testing including Escherichia coli, Salmonella typhi, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Shigella species, and Staphylococcus aureus. I’m especially proud of maintaining culture integrity and delivering consistent results while supporting audits and biohazard waste documentation.
