What I'm looking for

I’m looking for an entry role where I can apply software development while growing in AI/ML and cybersecurity, learn from experienced teams, and contribute with the mentoring and community-first mindset I’ve built through tutoring and volunteering.

I’m a motivated third-year Bachelor of Information and Computer Science student at Strathmore University, with a strong foundation in software development and a growing specialisation in AI/ML and cybersecurity. I’m currently deepening that focus through my AWS—Amazon Web Services course and an AI/ML Foundations course (in progress), strengthening how I design and build with modern tools.

I also bring impact beyond the classroom through sustained volunteering in education and active involvement in student organisations. I’ve tutored students across multiple school placements, mentored younger learners to build confidence, and supported community organisations with reliable facility upkeep and cleaning. Through my Mental Health Club work and my St. John Ambulance first aider volunteering (using certified first aid), I’ve developed empathy, active listening, and community-building—skills I bring into teamwork and technical collaboration.
