At Elderwood at Amherst, I lead and support a nursing team in a subacute rehab and skilled nursing facility. I assess residents, coordinate care responsibilities, and provide hands-on nursing care, including medication administration and PICC line care.
I manage wound VAC therapy and provide wound, ostomy, and urostomy care. I also administer enteral nutrition and document resident care using Point Click Care.
At Halton Gastrointestinal and Liver Clinic, I prepare patients for endoscopic procedures, assist physicians, and monitor patients through recovery from sedation. My clinical experience also includes cardiac and vascular step-down care at HHS – Hamilton General Hospital and diagnostic imaging at Chong Hua Hospital.
