Shengjie Zhang

I am a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in Data Science and Big Data Technology. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Data Science and Big Data Technology from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, and I am currently pursuing my Master's degree in Data Science at the University of California, Irvine. Throughout my academic journey, I have developed a solid foundation in machine learning, optimization, and statistical computing.

My project experience includes building decision tree regression models for sales prediction, implementing singular value decomposition algorithms for video background extraction, and optimizing sensor network localization using various methods. I am proficient in programming languages such as Python, C++, Java, R, Matlab, and SQL, and I have hands-on experience with packages like Numpy, Sklearn, Pandas, and CVXPY.

Besides my technical skills, I have also developed strong communication and leadership skills through my experiences as a University Student Ambassador and Captain of the University Soccer Team. I am excited to apply my skills and knowledge to drive business growth and innovation in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
