In my current Clinical Quality & Documentation Specialist (LPN) role in an Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit, I validate clinical documentation and quality indicators in UDSMR Netsmart RehabConnect, supporting accuracy and CMS compliance.
I navigate CPSI, Epic, and RehabConnect to verify clinical data, find documentation gaps, and support quality improvement workflows. I also audit charts and manage admission and discharge documentation, including medical necessity justification.
Using my CPC credential, I completed 600 remote coding cases in January 2026 to support DRG accuracy and compliant coding. I’m pursuing CIC certification to complement my CPC.
Earlier, at Dauterive Hospital, I served as an EMR Superuser during the transition from paper charting to CPSI, training staff and supporting system adoption. My experience also includes inpatient bedside care and chart auditing in LTAC settings.
